Reflecting on Peace Practice

Mi. 1. Dezember 2010, 9.00 Uhr bis Fr. 3. Dezember 2010, 17.30 Uhr

How and to what extent does your peacebuilding work contribute to sustainable social change? How can you design effective peacebuilding programs? And how will you define success and measure the impact of your peacebuilding work? These questions are put centre-stage in this training. “Reflecting on Peace Practice” (RPP) is a comprehensive, worldwide learning project initiated by CDA Collaborative Learning Projects, Cambridge (USA). WICHTIGE HINWEISE
The Training for Peace is part of the 9-Week Qualification Course which is attended by 8 people aiming to be certified as "Peace and Conflict Consultant".

We offer an early bird price if you register up to six weeks in advance.

The Academy can not provide any scholarships itself, nor waive the training fee nor arrange funding by other organisations. Applicants who can not cover the training fee in full will not be considered!

When transfering the training fee from a non-german account, please have in mind that it might take up to three weeks until we receive the money and that there might be transfer charges to be paid by your side. This is very important since we have to cancel all registrations for which we have not received the training fee at least 14 days before the training.

In the event of written cancellation less than 10 work days before the start of the course or event, the AfC will charge the participant for 50% of the participation fee as well as the cost of accommodation and meals. Should the participant not take part in the course or event and not cancel in advance or should the participant cancel less than 3 work days before the start of the course or event, 100% of the aforementioned costs will be charged.

If you should need a visa for Germany, please make sure to register at least six weeks before the start of the training. Since the visa application process takes quite a while, we cannot accept registrations later than this deadline.
