The Academy for Conflict Transformation (Akademie für Konflikttransformation im forumZFD) collects and processes personal data for the sole purpose of fulfilling its aims. The legal basis for this data collection is formed by Sections 12 and 13 of the Data Protection Act for Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany (Datenschutzgesetz NRW). The employees of forumZFD are obliged to obey the duty of confidentiality as detailed in Section 5 of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

For certain features of our internet site (e.g. access to the self-study courses) it is necessary to register and create a user account. Further information is then required for further steps, such as participant registration for a Training or application for a place on a Qualification Course.
The data that has been collected for the purposes of registration and carrying out the program are stored in our internal database. This data is open to inspection by employees of forumZFD. The freelance / external trainers who we contract in are only granted access to the information that is relevant to their preparation of the content of the specific event: this is the self-profile of each participant, their professional backgrounds, as well as their expectations and experiences with regard to the topic of the Training event.

Forwarding of personal data to our partner organisations (such as seminar centres) takes place only to the extent necessary for the successful staging of an event and only for participants whose participation has been confirmed or whose application has been accepted. This forwarding is done solely for organisational purposes.

Other than this stated case, no forwarding of personal data to third parties occurs.
If you have any enquiries as to the processing of your personal data, please contact our data protection officer Benedikt Kaless. He is also your contact person if you have an information request, a suggestion or a complaint relating to data protection. Furthermore, he is the person to contact if you wish to correct or delete personal data that we have stored.
