In memoriam Samuel Hlekelo Mpatlanyane
Former Qualification Course Participant murdered in South Africa

Samuel Mpatlanyane
Samuel Hlekelo Mpatlanyane
born: Soweto, 5 October 1965
murdered: Nelspruit (Südafrika) 8 January 2010
We are deeply sad and shocked upon receiving the news about Mr. Samuel Mpatlanyane's sudden and thoroughly unexpected violent death.
Mr. Mpatlanyane has attended a 9 Week Qualification Course in our organisation, the Academy for Conflict Transformation in the Forum Civil Peace Service in Bonn/Germany.
During this time we have gotten to know him as a very intelligent, well reflected and empathetic person. Having him in the course was a high benefit for each one of the other participants. Within the group of participants, his integrative and friendly way of interaction as well has his continuous input was very much appreciated.
We highly regret the death of such a wonderful and brilliant person and hope that his high spirit finds a way to live on through the work he did and the people he was in contact with. We commemorate Mr. Mpatlanyane in deep sorrow.
