Trainer for Environment, People and Conflict

Dr Rebecca L Farnum, LLM is a practitioner and professor of environmental peacebuilding. Becca is based in London, where she teaches courses on international law, environmental racism, and sustainable development. A founding member of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association, Becca serves as their Arts Initiative Lead. Her activism includes supporting We Do Green Rwanda, a youth-led initiative enhancing post-genocide reconciliation through agroforestry; the Kuwait Dive Team, a post-conflict marine restoration and conservation effort; and Dar Si Hmad, a fog-harvesting project promoting water justice for Indigenous women in Morocco. Past work has involved contributing to the International Law Commission's principles on the protection of the environment in relation to armed conflicts and serving a stint in the Obama White House.
