Thematic online trainings
The online trainings combine live digital sessions and independent learning using a learning platform. Regular participation in the live sessions, active participation and the submission of small project tasks are required for successful participation. In addition, the use of various tools promotes a participative and collaborative learning atmosphere.
For information on the technical requirements to participate in our online trainings, please have a look at our FAQ. Before the seminar begins, a take-off session will explain the digital platforms used and answer technical questions.
Thematic in-person trainings
The venue of the in-person trainings lasting several days is our conference center in Königswinter near Bonn. The participation fee includes meals during the seminars. Costs for overnight stay and breakfast as well as travel to and from the seminar are to be covered by the participants themselves.
Some trainings taking place in-person are embedded in the full-time course in Peace and Conflict Work. These are marked accordingly. Here it is possible for external participants to take part in individual modules of the training course and thus complement the existing learning group.
