The Academy for Conflict Transformation, together with some of our facilitators, is developing a series of toolkits on topics revolving around some of the central issues of peace and conflict work. We want to make these toolkits available for the wider audience as an introduction to our approach and an inspiration for doing this work.

Dealing with the Past
Dealing with the past is an approach to conflict transformation that attempts to work on analyzing, understanding and ultimately transforming the dynamics of violence and conflict in society. This toolkit offers an introductory definition of this approach and an insight into the core aspects. It has been developed by Tyrone Savage for the Academy for Conflict Transformation. The Academy offers a specialized 7-week online seminar on Dealing with the Past, also facilitated by Tyrone.

Gender in Peace and Conflict
This Toolkit gives an overview of perspectives on the role of gender in peace and conflict. It will investigate intersectional identities, exploring vulnerability and power in the intersections of difference and belonging. It has been developed by Paula Ditzel Facci for the Academy for Conflict Transformation. The Academy offers a specialized 7-week online seminar on Gender in Peace and Conflict, also facilitated by Paula.
